Let's start from the beginning....Adam devised a plan and eventually got me to Millennium Park in downtown Chicago on April 17, 2010. I could tell something was up and we were both acting a little out of sorts. Eventually, Adam dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes and then our good friend Kent walked up taking pictures of us. I had a confused look on my face as I was thinking...hmmm funny seeing him here. It finally hit me that Adam had planted him to photograph our special moment. We took a bunch of pictures, called our family, and then we got into a cab and found out there was more. We got to the Wit Hotel and I said, "Fun! We get to stay the night!" Adam said he had already checked us in and packed me a bag for the night. What a fun feeling! We got in the elevator and I was expecting to go back to the room...but no...more surprises. We went to the top floor and there awaited friends and family to celebrate with us and enjoy the beautiful day. Later that night we went out for dinner and we were that couple that couldn't stop talking to look at the menu and order. Adam really outdid himself and made me feel so special. What an amazing day that I will never forget.
